James San Jacinto Mountains Reserve
20 Oct, 08 PM - 22 Oct, 11 AM
We will use flagging tape to mark off the area prior to excavation. Before dawn, we will dig up the yellowjacket colony between/behind Cabins B & C. We will use a battery powered vacuum to collect workers, then use CO2 to knock out any remaining workers in the nest, then dig up the nest, bag it and place it in a cooler. We will then use dry ice to kill any remaining workers and replace any disturbed soil.
