Boyd Deep Canyon Desert Research Center

This is a systematics field trip. The purpose is to introduce entomology students to a number of different field collecting methods including pan traps, malaise traps, light traps, bait traps and other means of collecting insects. Traps will be set up on the Saturday and removed on the Sunday. Samples will be collected and deposited with the Entomology Research Museum.Please note, if possible, I would like to reserve the campground for the preceding week as well so that we can possibly alter our collecting plans depending on the weather.
