We plan to perform a pilot project with former UCSF colleagues who have experience in High Altitude Research and have utilized the Bancroft Lab several times over the last 20 years for academic high altitude research. This trip is merely to assess the feasibility of future high altitude studies. It is a pilot study and equipment testing program. If the equipment operates correctly at altitude future research would use digital bio markers in Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders at sea level and altitude. The pilot evaluation of the equipment planned for the current trip does not use any volunteers or human subjects. Hence this trip is not an affiliated trip.
