This visit is the field experience for undergraduate students enrolled in the Environmental Science & Policy course "California Environmental Issues", focused on desert lands conservation and habitat management in Anza Borrego State Park and the future sustainability and management of the Salton Sea. Activities will involve hiking in Anza Borrego State Park, lectures from park rangers or other local experts, a day trip to sites along the Salton Sea and Imperial Valley agriculture.
