Blue Oak Ranch Reserve

We plan to conduct two nights mistnetting bats in Blue Oak Ranch Reserve, in both pond and woodland sites, exact locaitons pending site inspections on Friday and Saturday. We will identify, age and sex the bats and take fecal, hair and wing punch samples and then they will be released the same night. All activities are approved and will be undertaken as per our animal ethics approval (Fricw1603) and scientific collecting permit (SCP-13480). We will also undertake decontamination procedures as detailed in our proposals and the latest US White Nose Syndrome decontamination protocols.
