Sagehen Creek Field Station

We'd like to make a preliminary "scoping" visit to the Sagehen Creek environs prior to our August 18th CSUC Friends of Herbarium Fen-Bryophyte Workshop. We hope to visit later Monday afternoon if possible, or Tuesday Morning as early as possible. We hope to spend Wednesday morning there and leave that afternoon. We intend to visit various wet meadow/fen areas and make a preliminary list of vascular and non-vascular plant species, as well as work on the workshop itinerary. We may wish to collect small samples of vascular plant and bryophyte species for identification. We will not collect/disturb any rare taxa and will minimize all impacts to wetland habitats.
