Sagehen Creek Field Station

California Naturalist trains the interested public in the ecology and natural history of California. The course takes place over 10 weeks of Friday evening classes, supplemented with 3 Saturday field trips and various optional activities. Subjects taught include Wildlife; Water Resources; Geology and Soils; Interpretation, Communication and Citizen Science; Plants; Forests and Woodland Resources; Energy and Global Environmental Challenges; Invertebrates.Evening classes will be taught in and around the Upper Camp Outdoor Meeting Area. field trips and optional activities will occur within the Sagehen basin, typically close to the field station.More information and registration:http://sagehen.ucnrs.org/events-2012.htm#calnat
