Sagehen Creek Field Station

My proposed research will be conducted during my sabbatical year, so it is relatively extensive. I have several related research goals at Sagehen: - Studying the efficacy of snow pack monitoring using a low cost wireless sensor network (WSN) platform; this will be in collaboration with Mark Walker and some of his students at UNR. - Integrating WSN monitoring systems with the Sagehen network. - Developing multihop solutions for source-to-sink data communication via Sagehen wireless backbone. - Enhancing software systems at Sagehen, especially to record provenance in Sagehen data sharing.
