I was referred to your facility by Andy Rost, PhD candidate at University of Nevada, Reno. We are both on the Board of Directors of the Headwaters Institute, where we conduct an annual workshop to train coordinators of our educational seminars on 28 rivers across the country. These localized seminars train professional guides to be environmental educators on their trips with the public. Our annual workshop is where we gather to provide current and inspiring lesson plans on everything from run-off pollution to invasive weeds and migratory patterns as affected by the boating industry.
