Sagehen Creek Field Station

California Dept of Fish and Game is conducting an integrated meadow monitoring project over several years. One component of the project is to map and classify meadow vegetation throughout the Sierra Nevada. Other components includes surveying for willow flycatchers, great gray owls, and blue grouse. This application is specifically for the two-person vegetation crew. The crew will be sampling meadow vegetation throughout the Sierra, including in the Tahoe and Plumas National Forests near the Sagehen Creek Field Station. During times when the crew members are near Sagehen, they may occasionally wish to stay at the field station.
