English 480-American Nature WritingUpper Level Undergraduate College CourseThis class is literature based and so we will examine authors writing about the environment, from 15th century explorers writing their first impressions of America to 21st century activists tackling environmental issues. The course will explore a variety of themes concerning the relationships between nature, culture, and literature. We don't need any scientific equipment; I am more interested in the students learning a variety of ecosystems at your site and writing their experiences.
