We plan to introduce our undergraduate students to basic principles of community ecology and biodiversity of coastal ecosystems through diversity surveys of the Reserve's intertidal system and various plant communities. We will hike the Reserve's trails, spend time in the intertidal, and conduct observational studies (i.e. using iNaturalist for biodiversity documentation).
