We plan to take a group of community college students enrolled in a general field biology course to the Rancho Marino Reserve. Our primary goal is to study and survey the basic ecology and diversity of flora and fauna in a variety of coastal ecosystems, including rocky shoreline, coastal sage scrub, and coastal grasslands. We will conduct intertidal diversity surveys.
