Kenneth S. Norris Rancho Marino Reserve

We will be bringing the UCSB Fish Biology Course to Rancho Marino for our annual field trip on October 17th. We will be collecting fish in the intertidal using handnets and will be holding them in buckets filled with seawater for identification. All fish will be released alive to tidepools. We will collect in areas away from ongoing experiments and research projects and will leave collections locations up to the discretion of the reserve manager. We request space on the bluffs for camping and request the use of the trailer and RV for sleeping space and the kitchen to cook meals. We will be leaving in the morning of October 18th.
