Sedgwick Reserve

This will be a hands-on introductory beekeeping class, with emphasis on natural beekeeping methods. Bee hives will be used that are located in the agricultural lease area of the Reserve. The hives are derived from naturally occurring local bee strains, and are unlikely to alter the feral bee genotypes in the area. Participants will be required to sign liability waivers. No one allergic to bee stings will be allowed to attend. Participants will park in a designated parking area.
