Sedgwick Reserve

I will be collecting, recording and tracking Gryllus lineaticeps, the variable field cricket. I will be surveying the type of area they are found in, making general observations, recording calling males, and trying to estimate wing morph frequencies in the population. I would appreciate housing in the studio apartments during my stay. I will mainly be working in the grassland areas, and will not be affecting any plant or animal population (except for collecting approximately 20 female crickets). I do not forsee any disturbances to the reserve's ecosystem or cultural resources, and will not be conducting any experimental manipulations, or introducing any species or genotypes.
