Sedgwick Reserve

We propose to conduct a workshop on the keying of Chorizanthe, based on revised treatments written for the Jepson Manual, 2nd edition. Our instructor, Dr. James Reveal, will bring collections with him for use during the class and we do not anticipate any collecting will be done on the reserve. We may hold a field trip to see Chorizanthe if any are flowering at the time of the workshop but will only observe these, not collect them.We will mostly be busy with classroom lecture and keying, using microscopes that we bring. If there are microscopes available at the reserve, we would like to request their use for the workshop.
