Stunt Ranch Santa Monica Mountains Reserve

Proposed Schedule and Purpose of Visit (Times are flexible): 9 to 10 - Introduction to Stunt Ranch, its research and relation to the UC Reserve system; introduction to Stunt Ranch education programs serving children and students from schools in the greater area. 10 to 12 - Discussion on topic relevant to Stunt Ranch research while seeing some part of the reserve (Mediterranean climate ecosystems, fire succession dynamics, etc). The formal purpose for our visit will end at noon. If possible, however, I'd like to propose an additional post-noon schedule for members of my staff who may wish to stay longer: 12 to 3 - Bagged lunch at the picnic facilities followed by option to explore the reserve further in smaller groups for species observation and identification.
