Hastings Natural History Reservation
11 Mar, 02 PM - 14 Mar, 10 AM
We will collect sub-lethal samples of up to 20 individuals of 11 lichen and 11 vascular plant species and their roots, as well as surface soil samples, all for stable isotope analysis. We will also preserve a small (~1cm) portion of plant roots in ethanol for DNA barcoding to identify the mycorrhizae associated with each plant.
