Hastings Natural History Reservation

We will primarily use the reserve as a class room. We be making observations to learn about local flora and fauna. We will observe and discuss the local geology, climate, and ecology. This will be done primarily through passive observation and keeping a natural history journal. We hope to learn about some of the research being conducted at the reserve. Finally, we would like learn about the natural resource management issues that the reserve deals with, what information managers use to make decisions, and what ecological tools they use to do management.
