Hastings Natural History Reservation

I plan to have 25-30 students for a field entomology class. I do not know yet which students will be attending, but wanted to reserve the dates as soon as possible. I will submit a revised application when I have more information and have secured the dates with you. Students will learn about the biology and natural history of butterflies and moths in California. We will use aerial nets to capture butterflies and day-flying moths during the day, and attract moths to ultraviolet at night. Specimens will be brought back to UC Berkeley for preparation and identification.
