Hastings Natural History Reservation

The purpose of my trip is to observe and photography the old growth blue oak woodland on the Reserve. The photographs will be used as instructional materials in the ecology courses that I teach at WSU. If allowable, I would like to collect specimens of blue oak for classroom teaching and herbarium collection purposes. It is my intention to spend the afternoon of June 23 on the Reserve and return if needed on June 24 for additional information.
