Hastings Natural History Reservation

The purpose of this trip is to explore nature with students of the UCSC Kresge Gardening Coop. For the past years we have gone to Big Creek however this year the date we are looking to go falls during Big Creek's Open House. This gives us the great opportunity to explore Hastings which I'm excited for. There are 24 students in the class, 3 TAs and myself. It is unlikely that they all will be able to come. We would like access to a kitchen and both indoor and outdoor sleeping if possible. As I said our overall purpose is to explore nature. We will do this through guided nature walks, solo sit spots for 30-60min (not over night solos), a camp fire (if possible) and activities which are nature connecting.
