Hastings Natural History Reservation

This is a continuation of my NSF-funded work on how coevolving interactions between pollinators and plants have diverged in different ecosystems throughout far western North America. The work focuses on the interactions between Lithophragma plants and Greya moths. Work this year will mostly involve collecting seeds to build up the greenhouse population for some new analyses on floral scents and other traits in Lithophragma. I will also collect some Greya moths for use in time-lapse photography experiments in my lab at UCSC. I am not sure on which days I will get to Hastings, because I will be working at multiple sites throughout California. I will email in advance of any visit.
