Hastings Natural History Reservation

I will be establishing the experimental plots for the experiment described in the research project description at the 11 transects located along the Hastings reserve boundary. I will be removing plant litter from half of the plots as per plot treatment design, and will also collect biomass samples (1 x 0.1 m strip) alongside each replicate grid of plots (4 per transect). Pending changes due to germination trial results, seeds of C. exserta, T. microcephalum, G. achilleifolia, P. erecta, M. californicus, and C. purpurea will be sown as per the protocol in the research description.
