Hastings Natural History Reservation

Class field trip to examine water relations of Quercus agrifolia, Q. lobata, and Q. douglasii. Class will walk the area on Saturday morning, divide up and collect transpiration and afternoon water potential data. Some groups will walk around and collect distribution data on the 3 oaks. Predawn water potential data will be collected on Sunday morning. Wrap up data in the morning, clean-up and leave around noon.
