Hastings Natural History Reservation

The purpose of this visit is to familiarize graduate students and teachers participating in the GK-12 program with the facilities and wildlife at Hastings, as preparation for leading trips for middle school students fall '06 and spring '07. Our activities will include sampling insects (sweep nets, beat sheets, bee traps, night lights), noosing lizards, trapping small mammals, birdwatching, and exploratory hikes.
