Angelo Coast Range Reserve

Our class would like to survey Angelo Reserve for vertebrate, invertebrate and plant diversity. Hikes will occur throughout the reserve. Collections would include only invertebrates (insects and arachnids). Sean Schoville has an outstanding Fish and Game permit to collect invertebrates in California. Our surveying will include mammal trapping. Both Tom Devitt and Sean Schoville have outstanding permits to catch and release small mammals in California. Our surveying will also include catch and release of lizards and amphibians. Our Fish and Game permits include such activities. Our activities will have minimal impacts on the reserve's natural systems (including only log/stone turning, beating vegetation, and hiking). We would like to use Fox Lodge, the adjacent meadow for camping, and possibly Wilderness Lodge. Our group size is 32 individuals, though the group visiting Angelo will likely be less.
