Angelo Coast Range Reserve

We will be mostly using the reserve as a show and tell of various California habitats and wildlife. We will be hiking around quite a bit, identifying plants, insects and vertebrates as we come across them. We will demo some simple sampling techniques for the students such as collecting and pressing a plant specimen, insect sampling with sweep nets, and sampling for aquatic macro invertebrates. We will not be taking any samples with us except for a few plant samples.
