McLaughlin Reserve

I'd like to resurvey the Bromus laevipes populations at McLaughlin to determine whether the symbiosis has changed, since it has been over a decade since I first surveyed (in 2009). I will collect a small amount of tissue (a few leaves or seeds) from plants at the sites where I previously surveyed at McLaughlin. This will allow me to determine how common the endophyte symbiosis is now and how it has changed. Because I will only remove a tiller or a few seeds, the plant would continue to live in the field and I could use samples for endophyte detection and functional profiling back in the lab. (I can provide the gps coordinates or a map of the population locations over email.)
