McLaughlin Reserve

We plan to do a 1-year post-fire soil sampling at the serpentine chaparral in the sites sampled during September 2021 after the LNU Lightning Complex. We will collect soil cores and bulk surface soil ash from 13 sites that were unburned, less severely burned, and burned severely to look at the long term reactivity of naturally occurring chromium in soils.
