Quail Ridge Reserve

The California Lichen Society (CALS) hosts an annual meeting on the last Saturday each January, consisting of a 1/2 day field trip in the morning, followed by an open meeting of the Board of Directors, a social hour, a pot-luck dinner and a presentation by an invited guest speaker. Daytime activities are usually centered around exploring and documenting the lichen flora at our location, usually requiring small collections for chemical identification of species.
