Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

Save-the-Redwoods League has an active volunteer research committee that meets two times per year to discuss the organization's research interests and priorities. The League's Master Planning process will soon focus on the Big Sur Coast - so familiarizing the group with some of the area's forests is a priority. Former NRS Director and SRL volunteer Roger Samuelsen has invited the Committee to tour the Reserve with reserve manager Kurt Merg. Activities will be limited to driving on established, stable roads and hiking on established trails.
