Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

This visit would be an optional, "Spring Break," visit for students in an upper-division "Field Marine Biology" course at CSUF (Biol. 317). The emphasis would be to visit the intertidal portions of the Reserve, or nearby (and more accessible) Big Sur sites. A secondary emphasis would be to explore the terrestrial natural history of the Reserve. The emphasis of the visit would be comparative marine ecology and natural history for students primarily familiar with southern California marine fauna and flora.
