Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

Our group of 4 have a background in plant ecology, including John Sawyer (Humboldt State emeritus professor) and two of his past graduate students in plant ecology. We want to visit the reserve to review the main vegetation types in the area. We are particularly interested in seeing Santa Lucia Fir, coastal scrub, and maritime chaparral on our trip because John Sawyer is currently updating descriptions of vegetation types, which described in A Manual of California Vegetation.
