Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

On Saturday, after settling into camp, we would like to do a natural history walk. Usually we do the interpretive trail loop. Then there is free time before dinner.On Sunday morning, we get up relatively early and go up to Highlands camp and sample the shrubs (line-intercept along transects), herbs (quadrats), fuel load, and litter layer in one N-facing and one S-facing plot that burned in the big fires of 1999. We usually eat lunch at Highlands Camp, and then come down in the early afternoon to pack up camp.
