Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

This is the same as in past years. We wish to come up to Big Creek to see representatives of many plant groups, but the ones that we have the hardest time seeing in the fall south of Big Sur are hornworts and liverworts. We will also study mosses, horsetails, ferns, conifers, and a few flowering plants. We wish to collect small samples of the hornworts, liverworts, and mosses. This trip has in the past been the wonderful kick-off for the semester that has really MADE the class great.
