Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

We will observe rocks in the Franciscan formation and Salinian block as part of a Mineralogy class field trip. This trip presents an opportunity for our students, many of whom have never left the state of Maine, to experience geology in the field and encounter rock types not found in any other part of the US (particularly in Maine).
