Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

I will train my students to do basic benthic macroinvertebrate monitoring and measure the amount of diel drift in the water column. The purpose of the project is two fold. 1) Train students to collect high quality data and analyze these data using standard statistical approaches. 2) Evaluate the seasonal differences between collections we have made in the winter 2009, 2010, 2011, and the fall. After two more years, I believe we will be ready to write a nice paper summarize the results.
