Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

Our goal is to explore the natural history of Big Creek's intertidal and terrestrial habitats as part of our "Field Marine Biology" course. Visits to intertidal could be at nearby sites with easier access during the morning hours, coinciding with the low tides. Any collecting would be minimal, restricted to selected marine invertebrates, and would be carried out strictly in accordance with California State and Reserve permissions. A California State Scientific Collecting Permit for the PI is on file with the Reserve Manager. I have put Redwood Camp as an Additional Facility in case the Reserve Manager would prefer to place us there but we would need only one of the two and would prefer to stay at the cabin, if it is available.
