Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

This outing is part of the Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve Nature Outing Program. The Nature Outing program offers the Davis campus and local communities opportunities to explore and understand the ecosystem at Stebbins Cold Canyon through a multitude of perspectives. One of the outings we offer each spring is to travel to another reserve within the UC system and learn about the ecosystem and work being done at the visited reserve. There will be a total of 15 of us. Last year we traveled to Sagehen. Shorty Boucher, the UC Davis Reserve Manager, will help facilitate the group. We would also love to learn more about the reserve, what some of the current issues and concerns are, from the reserve director and/or the reserve steward. Additionally, we will explore the area by hiking. We have requested the Whale Point cabin. Thank you!
