Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

We will go for a hike looking for native plants; which we will ID and makerubbings for an ID journal. Along the way we will also look for animal tracks which we will also draw, ID and put in our Journals. In addition We will ID the native habitats recording the animals that live in a certain area;what they need to survive, certain types of food and clean water, etc.If there are any endangered species that live in the area we will researchthem and talk about ways to help them; maybe donating some of our cookiemoney, etc.We will do a local scavenger hunt looking for things that may be specificto the area; certain mosses, plants, animals, etc.Before our trip we will make water viewers to ID indigenous water plantsand animals.
