Landels-Hill Big Creek Reserve

A group of docents from Point Lobos State Reserve will be visiting Big Creek Reserve for the purpose of continued education. We will spend the night at the Whale Point Research Cabin. The group will have a variety of experts in order to do a summary assessment of the natural and cultural resources of the area. We will do a group walk the day of our arrival ( including a guided 5K walk ) to assess the Reserve and to develop an initial inventory of local flora/fauna, geology, and cultural history resources. Among our group will be a local bird expert, a retired geologist, a botonist, an archeologist, and a local State Park Ranger.
