Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center
10 Mar, 01 PM - 12 Mar, 01 PM
The UF Desert Biodiversity Course brings students primarily from Florida to an entirely unfamiliar ecosystem and offers them an opportunity to see organisms in wild places. Our students will primarily focus on observing and identifying organisms and we don't intend to capture or collect specimens, but instead rely on photographic documentation. We will use a combination of published sources (available in the library) and citizen science to document our observations of organisms and their ecology.
