Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve

Our planned trip on 12/29/21 was cancelled due to rain. So we will check on the solarization experiment. We will also be installing small signs explaining the experiment. We may also place small wire cages around CHMAMA seed bags on surface to prevent damage from wildlife (4 surface bags showed signs of animal disturbance during the check in November). We will also collect the first round of bags to be delivered to the Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens for viability testing.
