Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve

This visit, we plan on mapping all occurrences of Salt Marsh Bird's Beak (Chloropyron maritimum ssp. maritimum). We may also collect Salt Marsh Bird's Beak seeds in areas where it currently overlaps with European Sea Lavendar (Limonium duriusculum). Seed collection would only occur in areas where we plan on treating L. duriusculum this year. We will also preform a reconnaissance of the current extent of the Limonium population, as well as examine the efficacy of last year's treatments.
