Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve

I will be visiting the Carpinteria Salt Marsh with 21 students and 2 other faculty as part of our Biology 127 (Ecology Field Methods) traveling field course. We plan to take a tour of the salt marsh to learn about the importance of California estuaries. We would also like our students to hear about some of the research currently being conducted in the salt marsh, as well as historically important research conducted in the area. Food web dynamics would be one particular topic that we would like covered.
