Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve

This class field study will evaluate the distribution and abundance of estuarine bivalves. Bivalves will be sampled with core samplers at several stations in the creeks and channels of Carpinteria Salt Marsh. The purpose of this sampling is to illustrate and evaluate the factors that influence the distribution and abundance of estuarine animals. We will release alive all animals captured.
