Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve

I seek to biomonitor the impact of increased tidal action and habitat restoration using nematode diversity and community structure in different parts of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, which have recently undergone the largest wetland restoration effort undertaken to date in the history of southern California. As part of this study, I would like to collect samples at CSMR as an external reference site. This addition would make this research more widely applicable and aid in my attempt to introduce nematode biomonitoring to California coastal management. As well, this research would complement the research underway already at the CSMR.
