Purpose of the visit is to introduce undergraduates to the field geology of the eastern Sierra/Owens Valley/Mono Lake area. The class will travel in a bus, leaving CSUF Friday morning (8th), and stopping at various geological sites on HWY 14 and 395, arriving at SNARL late afternoon. Saturday will be spent in the Mammoth/June Lake/Mono Lake area viewing the local geology. After cleanup Sunday morning we'll travel back to CSUF, stopping at various sites along HWY 395.
